crew 26 rock climbing!

Crew 26 went to the Ultimate Climbing Gym in Greensboro on January 20th for some exciting rock climbing! It was a great turn out for our first outing of the year and everyone had a great time. We were able to use the auto belay system and also made some new friends who were kind enough to belay for us. The Crew tried different difficulty levels and by the photos you can tell we may have some natural climbers!

Crew 26 went to Cherokee Scout Reservation on February 10th, 2024 for more shooting. This time we did sporting clays with 12ga again and was able to get 4 Scouts to qualify for their Shotgun Merit Badge! Then we went and shot a single-action revolver in .22lr. This was the first time the crew was able to shoot pistol outside of Philmont and it was amazing! We will definitely be doing this trip again very soon.

April 19-21, 2024 the Crew and some leaders went to E8 Conclave and again were members of the shows team which put on an awesome show

Two of the adult leaders went to the Spring Induction and completed their conversion to the rank of Brotherhood within the OA.

The Crew went to RushHour Karting on June 2nd, 2024 after spending the last two outings helping fellow crew members on their Eagle Scout Projects. The crew had a blast at RushHour and look forward to going back very soon!

The Crew went down to Sea Base and did the Bahamas trip for a week. They went down to Marsh Harbour and did some fishing, snorkeling, swimming and learning to sail the boat! They were able to explore places such as Green Turtle Cay, Hopetown and Little Harbour. I am sure this will not be the last time the crew goes to Sea Base! Such a great time there are just a few pages of pictures to show all the fun the crew had.

The Crew went to the Whitewater Center on Sept 18th and spent the day doing some rafting, bike riding, and high ropes course!

The Crew has taken on the responsibility of adopt-a-stream in our local city and have completed our first of many trips to help clean our community. On our first trip we collected 14 bags of trash!

The Crew went Par-Tee Shack on Oct 12th for some exciting putt-putt and even got to play a large game of Hot LAVA!

The Crew went to Breakout Escape Room in Greensboro on Nov 30th for an amazing time. The crew was large enough to have 2 groups playing the same room at the same time to see who escaped first! Then the Crew followed the event up with some great BBQ!

The Crew joined up with a couple crew members from Crew to enjoy a movie night. We went and saw Venom 3!

The Crew joined the Council's VOA Holiday party and had a great time. We had cornhole, white elephant gift exchange and plenty of food and snacks! It was a great way to finish off the year!
